Deja Sanders

Deja Sanders is a Senior Student Engagement Specialist at the University of Arizona Gilbert, where she supports over 400 distance learners. In her role, she fosters student engagement, streamlines onboarding processes, and collaborates with campus partners to enhance the student experience. With a background in higher education and a strong foundation in financial aid, operations, and event planning, Deja has led initiatives that improved student outreach and strengthened community-building efforts. Outside of work, Deja enjoys exploring new food spots, reading literary fiction, and spending time with her friends and family.
