Marqus Dorame

Marqus Dorame serves as the Director of Recruitment and Enrollment Management for Arizona Online. In his role, Marqus leads Arizona Online's recruitment and enrollment efforts, overseeing a large team of Enrollment Counselors, Managers, Coaches, and Communications and Data professionals. His team supports prospective students from initial inquiry through matriculation, providing a high-touch, high-impact recruitment experience that connects students to the Wildcat community. Marqus is committed to growing the student body and enhancing the recruitment experience, ensuring Arizona Online’s continued success and expansion.

Marqus is a Tucson native and proud University of Arizona Wildcat alumnus. After earning his undergraduate degree from UA, he began his professional online recruitment career as an Enrollment Counselor. Over the years, Marqus has advanced within Arizona Online, serving as Communications Coordinator, Assistant Director of Communications & Data Management, and, since 2023, as Director of Recruitment and Enrollment. Notable achievements include leading the online recruitment team to its largest incoming class in Fall 2023, with over 1,700 new students, and reaching a milestone of 10,000 enrolled students in the Fall 2024 semester. Under his leadership, the recruitment team has maintained an employee retention rate above 85%, positively impacting prospective student experiences.

Outside of work, Marqus enjoys spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, and supporting various local community initiatives in Tucson.
