Mercedes Luna

Mercedes T. Luna is a Student Engagement Specialist for Arizona Online. As a Student Engagement Specialist, she helps students persevere and reach their goals by answering general university questions, giving guidance on goal setting, and discussing academic success topics like study skills and time management. Mercedes also helps non-degree seeking students navigate enrollment in classes. Mercedes has been employed at the University of Arizona since 2018 and began working at Arizona Online in August 2023. Mercedes obtained her master's degree in Higher Education from Northern Arizona University and a bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of the Incarnate Word. Mercedes is a Mixxedfit dance instructor and enjoys painting, traveling, and spending time with her family.
